Stone admits voice loss fear

Soul sensation Joss Stone is taking time out of her singing career to rest her voice after developing nodules on her vocal chords.

The You Had Me star, 17, was warned by doctors last year to cut back on her busy schedule. Despite cutting back on her live performances, Stone didn't rest her voice completely and is now starting to lose her voice.

Stone says: "I've got nodules on my vocals chords and that kind of sucks. I wish certain people would realise that I need time off occasionally and that if I keep on at this pace, it could really damage me. But I've got to sell my records I suppose."
