Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin are the celebrity couple most likely to have a baby in 2005, according to bookmakers.
The pair are 3/1 on to hear the patter of tiny feet in the next 12 months.
Ladbrokes are offering odds of 50/1 that baby Rooney will follow in dad’s footsteps and play for England.
Manchester United star Rooney and fiancee Coleen are also the showbiz couple most likely to tie the knot next year, sharing the same odds of 1/3 with Jude Law and Sienna Miller.
Ladbrokes spokesman Warren Lush said: “Wayne and Coleen are big favourites to have a baby this year. Wayne has been scoring on the pitch – and we reckon he’s scoring regularly off the pitch with Coleen.
“During Euro 2004 we took loads of bets that Coleen was pregnant. We think it’s only a matter of time before Wayne is kicking a football around in the garden with a little baby Rooney.”
Coleen, 18, is already training to be a footballer’s wife, with a designer shopping habit that nearly puts Victoria Beckham to shame.
Their wedding threatens to be a lively affair.
When the two families got together to celebrate Coleen’s 18th birthday party in March, a mass brawl broke out when the free bar closed at 2am.
Rooney, 19, was so upset that his fiancée’s big day had been ruined that he punched a wall, injuring his hand.
While the odds on wedded bliss look good for Rooney and McLoughlin, things are less rosy for the Beckhams.
Ladbrokes are offering odds of 4/1 that they will file for divorce in the next 12 months.
Brian and Kerry McFadden are favourites to divorce (1/4), closely followed by Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony (5/4), and Britney Spears and Kevin Federline (2/1).
Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are 9/1 to split after the Friends actress was spotted without her wedding ring.
Ladbrokes reckon Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin could soon be expecting a little brother or sister for baby Apple, while Liz Hurley is also tipped to announce a baby is on the way with boyfriend Arun Nayar.
The showbiz couple least likely to wed in 2005 are Simon Cowell and Terri Seymour.
Warren Lush said: “We think there’s only an outside chance that Simon will make Terri an honest woman.”
If punters are looking for really outlandish odds, David Blunkett is 500/1 to tie the knot with Kimberly Quinn.
