Throat infection leads to Elton gig axing

Singer Elton John has been forced to cancel a second show tonight due to a continuing throat infection which has resulted in the loss of his singing voice.

It had been hoped the singer would recover in time to perform at Glasgow‘s Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), but he pulled out of the show following doctor‘s advice.
