U2 twice as popular as before

U2 have knocked Eminem off the top of the American charts, with an album twice as successful as their previous offering.

The Irish rockers' new disc, How To Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, shifted 840,000 copies to far outsell the debut week of its predecessor - 2000's All That You Can't Leave Behind.
