Gest plans oldies 'extravaganza'

Last time we heard from Liza Minelli’s soon-to-be ex-husband, David Gest, he was holed up in Hawaii tending his wounds from his allegedly volatile relationship and working on his lawsuit against the Cabaret star.

Now he has surfaced in Memphis where he has teamed up with, of all people, Petula Clark. She is one of the acts performing on Gest’s All-Star Holiday Extravaganza. Other ageing stars involved include Lou Rawls, Dionne Warwick, Gloria Gaynor, Topol and Buzz Aldrin.
