Robin Williams is Reeve family's 'guardian angel'
Funnyman Robin Williams has become the 'guardian angel' to the grieving family of his best pal - Superman star Christopher Reeve.
The Mrs Doubtfire actor had an emotional conversation with the actor after a May 1995 horse riding accident left Reeve paralysed.
And Williams made a moving vow to look after Reeve's widow Dana, their 12- year-old son Will and Reeve's two adult siblings if anything happened to the star, so when Reeve died from a heart attack last month Williams was determined to keep his word.
A close friend says: "Chris and Robin had a heart-to-heart after his riding accident. They were closer than brothers - Robin swore to look after the entire family."
