The Irish-set blockbuster King Arthur has scored a resounding success in China, taking third place in the list of top openers, with $870,000.

The Anotine Fugua-directed historical romance, which starred Kiera Knightly and Clive Owen, came just behind Pearl Harbor and Pirates of the Caribbean.
