Diaz may fight topless pictures in court
Cameron Diaz is planning a trip to court to confront the man she has accused of trying to blackmail her over topless shots he took of the sexy actress years ago.
Snapper John Rutter upset the actress when he informed her he was planning to sell the candid photos he took of Diaz in 1992 to European magazines.
He offered the actress a first-right to buy them and the negatives from him, prompting Diaz to charge him with extortion.
She has since dropped those charges, but still intends to have her day in court - accusing Rutter of forging her signature on a release form.
Rutter's lawyer Mark Werksman, who was in court yesterday for a hearing into the case, has told America's Celebrity Justice show: "I think she'll be a witness for the prosecution, so you can expect that she will be testifying.
"But Rutter did nothing wrong here. In fact, he did Ms Diaz a favour by giving her an opportunity to purchase these photographs before he sold them on the open market."
The trial is set to begin next month.
