Cowell slams 'irritating' Hucknall

American Idol judge Simon Cowell is easily annoyed by many celebrities, but rates Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall as his least favourite star.

The British music mogul is well known for his opinions of chart stars - he famously slammed Madonna for "being a housewife, who used to be good looking".

Now he says: "Mick Hucknall - he leads the pack by a long way.

"I just find him very irritating. He's obnoxious."

And despite sharing judging duties with Sharon Osborne, Cowell cannot get over her daughter Kelly's singing.

He adds: "If Kelly Osbourne had auditioned for the show she wouldn't have got through the first round."
