Stay clear of dizzy White Chicks

The only reason for making White Chicks, one suspects, is that it gives employment to members of the family and keeps them out of harms way for a couple of months.

The only reason for making a film like this, one suspects, is that it gives employment to members of the family and keeps them out of harms way for a couple of months.

Since there is no other merit in this pile of junk such must be the case. It’s not that it’s funny, stylish, innovative or in any way meaningful.

In one of the worst films ever made since the first ‘Roll Cameras’ was called we meet two loud and boorish black FBI agents disguising themselves as Hamptons socialites - the White Chicks of the title - the better to do whatever it is that male FBI agents disguised as females do.

Who, anyway, cares?

It is impossible to consider the film with any serious intent since it is an ugly piece of work, lacking in any entertainment value and if it was intended to be an entertaining comedy the words ‘dismal’, ‘unmitigated’ and ‘failure’ spring readily to mind.
