Jackson fans allowed to sue over bad seats

A group of disgruntled Michael Jackson fans have been given permission to sue Madison Square Garden management after they were sold seats with obstructed views for their hero's 30th anniversary concert in 2001.

New York Judge Herman Cahn has approved a class-action lawsuit against Ticketmaster and Madison Square Garden officials after one annoyed fan, Dana gross, filed legal papers claiming she paid over $600 for six tickets to the show only to find she and her friends couldn't see the stage or the TV monitors.

Glen Rosenberg, one of Gross' friends, who attended the show, says: "It was so bad I might as well have been sitting in my bathroom."

The plaintiff's lawyer, Peter Agulnick, claims his client wrote a letter of complaint to Ticketmaster bosses, but did not receive a satisfactory response.

If Gross wins her class action case, it will result in over 1,000 fans receiving a hefty refund on the grounds of breach of contract.
