Divine Comedy set for Irish tour

The Divine Comedy’s Irish tour follows success of their tour across the US and Canada during September, where they performed in New York, Pittsburgh, Toronto, Chicago and Minneapolis.

The Divine Comedy released the album Absent Friends in March of this year to good reviews, and fans are expected to be treated to a collection of their hits including singles from the current alongside live favourites National Express, Something for the Weekend, Everybody Knows (Except You), The Frog Princess and Generation Sex.

Dates: October 14, The Forum, Waterford.

October 15, Dolan’s, Limerick.

October 16, The Gleneagle, Killarney.

October 17, Black Box, Galway.

October 18, Everyman, Cork.

October 20, Olympia, Dublin.

Following The Olympia Theatre show, the band takes in a date at the Belfast Festival.

They then head to Paris for a performance at the world famous Les Folies Bergere venue.

November sees The Divine Comedy embark on the three-band Wintercase Tour in Spain, where Neil Hannon and co will be joined on the bill by Graham Coxon and one-time member of the Moldy Peaches, Adam Green.
