A charmless screen version of the title-named comic-book character in which cold revenge is the theme; and in which the laughable Travolta illustrates another of his slides into the unwatchable.

Jane plays an FBI agent who, during a sting, kills the son of an evil hood (Travolta) and brings upon himself and his family the vengeance.

It is an awful film devoid of human understanding, overly-simple in its message that revenge can be justified and lacking in mitigating circumstances which might attract us to it.
