Former Eagles bassist Randy Meisner has been rushed to hospital after suffering mystery chest pains.

Former Eagles bassist Randy Meisner has been rushed to hospital after suffering mystery chest pains.

The 58-year-old rocker was taken to Burbank, California's Providence St Joseph's Medical Center on Friday morning.

His manager, Kevin White, says: "He's resting comfortably. He's not experiencing any pain. He's doing well."

Doctors are currently running a series of tests on Meisner.

Meisner, who left the Eagles in 1977, now performs with The World Classic Rockers.
