Big Brother continued to turn up the heat on the five remaining housemates ahead of tonight’s shock eviction.
The contestants paid for their refusal to nominate on Monday when they were called to the sofa area and made to watch previous weeks’ nominations on the giant plasma screen.
And they were in for a bigger shock when footage was only shown of them nominating someone who is still in the house.
Daniel appeared on the screen to nominate Shell, his reason being, “she has a habit of talking over you”. Everyone laughed and Shell was forced to concede: “I do”.
Jason looked uncomfortable as footage of him nominating Daniel was shown, and Shell was distressed at the sight of herself voting for Nadia.
More mind games were played later last night when Big Brother ordered the housemates on the sofas and played sounds of a crowd into the house.
They were made to stew in silence for 40 minutes before they were informed they were free to leave.
Viewers have been voting all week for the housemate they want to win and the one with the least votes will leave tonight.
Portuguese transsexual Nadia is the hottest ever favourite to win Big Brother and is now 50/1 on – after starting the show as a 50/1 outsider.
Shell is the bookies’ favourite to get booted out next.
Ladbrokes spokesman Warren Lush said: “We have little doubt that Nadia will win. She’s the hottest favourite to win we have seen in any series.
“Cameron Stout was 1/10 to win on the eve of last year’s final night, while Brian Dowling was 1/16 in series two. We can’t see any other housemate making a challenge, it’s Nadia all the way.
Dan and Jason are 16/1 to win, followed by Stuart at 33/1 and Shell at 50/1.
