Hilton's Backstreet romance ends

Paris and her Backstreet Boys beau Nick Carter have split.

The 23-year-old socialite had been dating the pop star for seven months. Apparently it was party-loving Paris who ended the romantic relationship.

According to her publicist, "she's concentrating on her work".

The Backstreet Boy wasn't losing any sleep over it either, saying "I'm back in the studio, ready to go on tour with the guys…..I want to be free to date other people."

A new Backstreet Boys album is expected to be released later this year.
