Cohen brings Ali G back to life

British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen has dumped his dreams of become a "serious actor" and brought his famous character Ali G back to life.

The Jewish funnyman and his fiancee, Australian actress Isla Fisher, moved to Beverly Hills last year in hope of establishing their Hollywood careers and leaving the spoof Staines 'homeboy' behind him.

A film source tells British newspaper the Daily Telegraph: "Sacha hasn't appeared in a single film and, as far as I know, there's nothing imminent.

"So he has reverted to the old day job. A few weeks ago, he even did an Ali G gig at Harvard, wearing a tracksuit with the slogan 'Professor of Herbology'. He just doesn't seem able to leave Staines behind."

Cohen has just finished filming the second series of Da Ali G Show for American cable network HBO, while Fisher has starred in Scooby-Doo and forthcoming Jude Law movie I heart huckabee's.
