P Diddy's Independence treat

Rap mogul Sean 'P Diddy' Combs is hoping to impress guests of his annual White party on 4 July - he's bringing an original copy of the Declaration of Independence to the bash.

The hip-hop star and clothes designer has hired a helicopter to escort him and his prized possession from his Sunday night performance in Broadway, New York show, 'A raisin in the sun' to the exclusive party in the plush Hamptons area of Long Island, reports gossip site Pagesix.com.

His copy of the document is one of only 200 printed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 4 July 1776.
