Police quiz Vanessa over Big Brother brawl

Blonde student Vanessa has been questioned by police over last week’s Big Brother brawl after she was booted off the show by viewers.

Detectives were waiting in the wings to interview the South African as she became the first housemate to be voted out by the public.

Hertfordshire Police plan to quiz each of the housemates as they are evicted as part of the probe into the bout of violence which broke out just over a week ago.

Horrified viewers called the police as violent scenes flared in which Emma and Victor clashed, Jason threatened Marco, while Vanessa and Nadia squared up.

The producers of the show pulled the plug on the live feed and security guards entered the compound for the first time. Police spoke to members of the production team and requested a tape of the night’s events, including the fight between Emma and Victor.

A police spokesman said: “Officers will be speaking to everyone who was present as a matter of routine. We will be speaking to all the housemates as they leave the Big Brother house.”

Vanessa was up for the chop against gay hairdresser Dan but viewers decided there was no real competition – a landslide 86% voted out the South African.

Before the eviction the 26-year-old blonde feared she would be punished for looking like a “slapper” after her sexy antics with Jason.

When the result was read out, Vanessa screamed: “I knew it!”

Two housemates have already left the house since the reality show kicked off four weeks ago.

But hellraiser Kitten and loudmouth Emma were forced out by producers, instead of viewers, of the Channel 4 show.

Both Dan and Vanessa were up for eviction last week but the outbreak of fighting in the house meant it was put on hold.

Speaking to presenter Davina McCall after the eviction she said: “Four weeks just went so quickly – I’m really sad to have left.”

Pressed on the much-gossiped about subject of her raunchy snogging session with Jason, Vanessa said: “I blame it on the beer goggles.

“It’s been a long time,” she said, before admitting she fancied him “a bit”.

“He’s a really lovely guy. I’m not quite sure,” she said, as Davina suggested Vanessa liked Jason’s body more than she was letting on.

“I think he likes his bum more than I do.”

Vanessa could not hide her surprise, however, when Davina told her that Nadia was a transsexual.

“Your kidding,” she screamed. “No wonder she’s got no bloody hips.”

Earlier, as Vanessa prepared to say her final goodbyes to the housemates, Dan showed how unhappy he was at not being sent packing.

He was seen banging the window and shouting: “I want to go! Me! It was me!”

In the final seconds before she left the Big Brother house, she did a noisy round of “high fives” followed by a group hug with the other housemates.

After a pause before she walked out the door, Vanessa emerged into a barrage of flash-guns and screaming fans, looking dazed by all the sudden attention.
