George Michael blames Sony split on Mottola

George Michael has revealed former Sony Music boss Tommy Mottola was at the centre of his decision to quit the record label and fight them for his artistic freedom in court.

After swearing he wanted nothing else to do with Sony after the bitter 1993 court case, which he lost, Michael resigned with the record company last year.
