Reeve rallies students
Paralysed actor Christopher Reeve told Vermont graduates that they should not lose sight of the difference they could make in the world, adding that “inaction is unacceptable”.
The crowd grew hushed when Superman star Reeve, in a motorised wheelchair, was pushed by an assistant to centre stage at Middlebury College. “We can rationalise inaction by deciding that one voice or one vote doesn’t matter, or we can make the choice that inaction is unacceptable,” he said.
