The crowd grew hushed when Superman star Reeve, in a motorised wheelchair, was pushed by an assistant to centre stage at Middlebury College. “We can rationalise inaction by deciding that one voice or one vote doesn’t matter, or we can make the choice that inaction is unacceptable,” he said.
