Kate Beckinsale weds

British actress Kate Beckinsale and Underworld director Len Wiseman were married in a small weekend ceremony at the lush Bel-Air Hotel in Los Angeles.

The couple recited wedding vows on Sunday in what publicist Troy Nankin described as an “intimate” ceremony. Beckinsale wore a Vera Wang gown, Nankin said today. No other details were released.

It was the first marriage for both.

Beckinsale’s films include Van Helsing, Underworld and Pearl Harbor.

Wiseman, a music video director for En Vogue and Megadeth, made his feature-film debut with last fall’s Underworld. He is now working on an untitled sequel with Beckinsale again in the starring role.
