Oscar winner Hilary Swank and actor husband Chad Lowe have separated after more than eight years of marriage.

British actress Kate Beckinsale and Underworld director Len Wiseman were married in a small weekend ceremony at the lush Bel-Air Hotel in Los Angeles.
