Irish-born actor Nesbitt sings Born In England

Cold Feet star James Nesbitt is recording a football anthem for Euro 2004.

The actor is part of the band Twisted X which is aiming for a number one with Born In England, a rival to the official England song.

The Libertines and Danny Goffey from Supergrass are also lending their vocals.

Born In England was chosen via a competition on Christian O’Connell’s Xfm radio breakfast show.
