Dylan 'wants to be Pop Idol judge'

If you thought Johnny Rotten’s decision to appear on I’m A Celebrity... was a rum move for a countercultural hero, how about Bob Dylan as a judge on America’s version of Pop Idol?

It seems the rock icon’s people contacted Nigel Lythgoe, the British boss of American Idol, to say he wanted to sit alongside Simon Cowell as a judge.
