Hellboy replaces Scooby as number one
Comic book adaptations are continuing to score highly at the US box office. Movie adaptation Hellboy has shot to the top of the US box office.
Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (featuring former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar) has been knocked from the number one slot in its second week of release, only to be replaced by Hellboy, starring Ron Perlman as a superhero conjured up by black magic.
