Beckham joins family as he denies affair

England football captain David Beckham was today expected to join his family on holiday after dismissing claims he had an affair with his personal assistant.

Wife Victoria jetted off for an Easter break in Switzerland yesterday afternoon as the furore surrounding the allegations grew.
