Golden makes a promising directing debut with this lightweight Irish-set romance; it's charming even if it doesn't go anywhere (well, except to Donegal!)

David (Byrne) has been left at the alter, Claire (Reid) is left by her married lover, they meet at Dublin Airport, he talks her into driving him to a cottage in Donegal, she does, they don't at first get on, they eventually find love.

It's pretty conventional and sometimes you have to overlook plot inconsistencies, but the playing of Byrne and Reid is a decided plus in what is a pleasing little film. Charming, even!
