Casa De Los Babys to open Belfast festival

A gala screening of John Sayles Casa De Los Babys will open this year's Belfast Film Festival - the fourth - on March 25.

One of the stars, local actress Susan Lynch, will introduce the film.

The Festival runs until April 2 and will include personality visits, premiere screenings, workshops, lectures and, of course, lots of fun.

It ends with the screening of Michael Winterbottom's Code 46, starring Oscar winner Tim Robbins and Oscar nominee Samantha Morton.

Other screenings will include Robert Altman's The Company, Oliver Stone's Comandante, Bertolucci's The Dreamers, Julio Mendem's Basque Ball and Irish films The Honeymooners, Headrush and Song for a Raggy Boy.
