Oscars chiefs furious at network interference

Oscars chiefs are furious that the US television network broadcasting the Academy Awards ceremony is insisting on a delayed transmission following Janet Jackson's breast exposure.

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences bosses say ABC's planned five-second delay could be the first step on a slippery slope that "introduces a form of censorship".
