MI3 postponed as Cruise stars in Mann thriller

Tom Cruise, who will be producing as well as starring in Mission: Impossible 3, has postponed the start date of the film to allow him first to star in director Micheal Mann's thriller Collateral.

Tom Cruise, who will be producing as well as starring in Mission: Impossible 3, has postponed the start date of the film to allow him first to star in director Michael Mann's thriller Collateral.

In it he will play a hit man – the first time he has played a villain – who takes taxi driver James Foxx as a hostage. Filming is due to begin next month.
