Teenage girls, eh!!
Little monsters testing adults to the limits of endurance ... skirts up to here, studs everywhere (even, pass the salts, in the belly-button), tongues that could chop wood, attitudes, attitudes, attitudes!
So we meet and enter the hair-tearing world of LA teen Tracy (Wood) whose philosophy seems to be based on not living as a normal human-being in a normal society. She falls under the influence of the school's popular - but very naughty - Evie (played by screenwriter Reed) and enters a world of sex, booze and drugs. Hay, girls just wanna have fun!
It's a gritty and not disappointing film handled with care by Hardwicke and acted often superbly by a cast well aware of what's required to keep us gripped by this alarming sub-culture we have been drawn into.
