The Medallion

Director: Gordon Chan

Cast: Jackie Chan, Lee Evans, Claire Forlani, Julian Sands, John Rhys-Davies

Cert: 12.

Dublin gets a sort-of look-in in this awful Chan chop-n-leap adventure; a good lawyer might be given a quick call from the city fathers.

So, in another of the increasingly tiresome Chan kung-fu rubbish bins, we have a group of bad guys fetching up in Dublin with a sacred child with a magic medallion (which might have been put to better use finding a decent script), chased by detective Chan and his buddy (played by comic Evans, with a great deal of embarrassment).

There is the usual energetic action and the usual lack of dialogue; even a lack of sense. Who actually likes these films?
