Soprano daughter takes on Fleiss role
Tony Soprano’s daughter is taking on the role of Madam Heidi Fleiss in a new USA network movie.
Jamie-Lynn DiScala, who plays the mob boss’s daughter Meadow in the hit series “The Sopranos”, will play the former Hollywood Madam in the film titled “Going Down: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss”.
"I think Jamie is the perfect combination of a girl next door with real intelligence who has the ability to manipulate every situation she is in," said Jeff Wachtel, an executive at USA Network. "We've seen it in her role as Meadow on 'The Sopranos', but it is much darker here."
Executive producer Stan Brooks added: "The perfect actress for the role had to capture her innocence, the intelligence behind her eyes and a sexual allure, and that's one thing Jamie has in spades.
"And the fact that she's a Jewish girl from a nice family in New York, and Heidi was a Jewish girl from a nice family in California, isn't a bad thing either."
