Ryan Adams announces Irish date

Singer Ryan Adams is to perform in Dublin next month, it was revealed today.

Adams will perform at The Olympia, on November 16. Tickets for the concert, priced at €28.00, will go on sale this Thursday at 9:00am from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.

Adams will release his new album, Rock n Roll, on Friday October 31.

Recorded at Stratosphere Studios in New York, 'Rock N Roll' was produced by James Barber.

Adams played all of the guitars on the electrified release, marking a departure for the notoriously prolific songwriter.

The album includes guest appearances by ex-Smashing Pumpkins and Hole bassist, Melissa Auf der Maur.

Adams' Gold, released in 2001, made Top 10 lists across the US and spawned the huge s hit 'New York, New York'.
