Duran Duran to play UK date

Former chart stars Duran Duran announced their first UK gig with their classic line-up for 18 years today.

The band will play at The Forum in north London on Tuesday, before joining a host of other stars the following evening at a fashion and music spectacular at the Royal Albert Hall.

The group – Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor, Roger Taylor and Andy Taylor – recently reformed to record new material, which is expected to be released next year.

They have already played in Japan and the US for audiences which have included Gwen Stefani, Beck and Nicolas Cage.

Tickets for the Forum show go on sale tomorrow.
