Damien Rice scoops Shortlist prize

Damien Rice took home the third annual Shortlist Music Prize for Artistic Achievement at a sold-out concert at the Wiltern last night in Los Angeles last night.

The Shortlist Concert, presented by MTV 2, featured live performances from eight of the ten Shortlist Finalists: The Streets, Cat Power, The Black Keys, Cody ChesnuTT, Floetry, Interpol, and a hauntingly beautiful set by Rice and his four piece band.
