Tina records first song in four years for Disney film

Tina Turner has recorded her first new song in four years for Disney's new animated feature film Brother Bear.

Look Through My Eyes Great Spirits is the lead song to the movie and is the first new track by Turner since the release in 1999 of her album Twenty Four Seven.

The 63-year-old singer announced her retirement from touring in June, 2000, and played her final concert later in the year in December in Anaheim, California, on her farewell tour.

Phil Collins sings five new songs on the soundtrack including Welcome, No Way Out, On My Way and Transformation.

Collins, who won an Oscar and Golden Globe Award for his song You'll Be in My Heart on Disney's 1999 animation movie Tarzan, also worked on the movie's score with composer Mark Mancina.

The movie follows the adventures of a young man called Kenai who is transformed into a bear and is the third movie created by Disney's Florida Animation Studio, after Mulan and Lilo & Stitch.
