Affleck's mom instigator in bust-up

American journalist Janice Min has gone on record saying the bust-up between Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez was mostly down to Ben’s mom.

According to the editor of celebrity magazine ‘US Weekly’ Ben got cold feet when his mom Chris, in a phone conversation, told her son he was committing himself to a life of isolation if he went through with the wedding.

Min says, "The mother was a factor. She was worried her son would be living in a fish bowl. It's very clear Ben was the one who broke it off with J Lo. First he called off the wedding and the next day, he called off the relationship."
