Classic, hand-drawn animation is not, after all, dead and buried. It is alive in this charming and entertaining story about a cycling-mad boy, a bike, his memorable dog and the Tour de France.

This film is packed with incident and a sly humour that comes from the classics of Keaton, Chaplin and Tati. It also looks wonderful and is so original that it, too, falls into the classic camp.

There is nothing about it to find fault with. Don't miss!
