Bobby Brown arrested for probation violation

Singer Bobby Brown has been arrested for an alleged probation violation while dining with his wife, Grammy winner Whitney Houston, police in the US said.

Brown was picked up on Friday night at a restaurant in the Atlanta, Georgia suburb of Alpharetta after an unidentified caller tipped authorities, said police Sergeant Chris Lagerbloom, a department spokesman.
