The pressure of being the first ever Head of House on Big Brother seems to be taking its toll on Ray.

The Irishman became emotional as he faced up to the prospect of nominating three housemates for eviction.

As Head of House, Ray is immune from being nominated this week - but he alone must decide who to put up for the public vote.

His emotions rose to the surface in the bathroom, as he splashed his face with water in an effort to pull himself together.

And after going to bed, he lost his cool with the cameras, shouting: "Go away, go away, go away! Enough! It's doing my head in."

Scott heard the commotion and came in to see what the fuss was about. Ray admitted: "I was getting a bit of a reaction in the bathroom over today's thing. Everyone's going to know."

Meanwhile, Scott and Cameron have embarked on a beard-growing competition. Scott challenged Cameron to the Beardathon - which will last until the next eviction night on Friday.

When questioned in the diary room as to his motives, Scott replied that it was an experiment.

"I'd be quite interested to see how much facial hair I can grow in a few days' time," he said.
