Monica Lewinsky hosts dating show

Monica Lewinsky has recaptured the attention of the American public – this time as a reality TV show host.

More than 12 million viewers tuned in to see the first episode of the former White House intern’s dating programme, Mr Personality.

The show features a group of masked men who compete to woo a woman.

Lewinsky, whose affair with Bill Clinton nearly cost him the US presidency, serves as the host and a sounding board for the girl who must pick a partner without seeing his face.

The primetime show, which airs on the Fox network, is her first appearance on TV since an emotional performance on a documentary last year where she fielded questions from students about the Clinton affair.

The 29-year-old now lives in New York and runs a company selling handbags which she designs herself.
