Lances at the ready

Jerry Bruckheimer is launching a search for hundreds of extras - long-haired and bearded men specially required - for the upcoming epic King Arthur, which begins shooting in Dublin and Wicklow in the summer.

English actor Clive Owen has been cast in the lead role.

Cattle calls begin on Friday and continue until the end of April at a hall near you.
