Beckham picks up a couple of penguins

England captain David Beckham has picked up a couple of penguins in an advertisement for a pair of revolutionary trainers, it was revealed today.

The two penguins are staring at the Manchester United star’s ClimaCool II, made by adidas, in the poster advertisement.

ClimaCool was adidas’ fastest selling shoe last year, and the sports manufacturer claims the ClimaCool II guarantees 32% cooler feet than any other running shoe using a process called ram air ventilation.

An adidas spokesman said: “We discussed the idea for the advertising with David and he loved it.”
