'Treasure Planet' is another bummer from Disney

This reportedly cost up to $140m to make and took a mere $40m on its Stateside release, which means that heads will roll in the Magic Kingdom.

The substance of the film is based on the classic Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, removing it from the reality of small, sandy islands to small, sparkling stars.

Our heroes journey among the stars on an old gallion, doubtless to escape more easily from a badly drawn, weakly directed, dismally written load of wind.

Five minutes into this film and you wish you could sail from Bristol on the noontide. Them as dies will be the lucky ones!
