Bobby Brown rushed from jail to hospital

R&B star Bobby Brown was rushed from his jail cell to a hospital bed yesterday.

Prison officials would not say why Brown, who is serving an eight-day sentence for drunk driving, was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Brown was sent to DeKalb County jail on Friday after admitting a 1996 drunk driving charge. The 33-year-old is married to Whitney Houston.

He was eligible for release today under the prison’s “good time” policy, which cuts 25% off the sentences of inmates who behave well.
