Metallica to play in Dublin

Metallica have announced they will appear in Dublin next year.

They are lining up an appearance on August 21. The venue has still to be confirmed.

The concert is part of a European tour of festivals by the band in the summer.

They are currently working on a new album and have been trying out new bass players after the departure of Jason Newsted.
