Pop duo duet for 'Millionaire' special
Pop Idol Will Young has teamed up with former Baby Spice Emma Bunton – as contestants on Britain's Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?
The pair have taken part in a Christmas celebrity version of the show, recorded last week.
Other stars set to appear in the ITV1 special – being screened on December 24 and repeated the following day – are Des O’Connor and his presenting partner Melanie Sykes.
All the celebs who have faced question-master Chris Tarrant are raising cash for a number of charities as they bid to land a million pounds.
Another Des, housewives’ favourite Des Lynam, has paired up with newsreader Mary Nightingale for the shows.
Also appearing are actor Neil Morrissey and Fast Show star Arabella Weir, while Lady Betty Boothroyd, former speaker of the House of Commons, will form a team with her goddaughter Jackie Martinez.
Tarrant said: “People underestimate how tough it is sitting in the hot seat and facing the 15 questions to reach £1m.
“But imagine what it is like when people watching you are counting on you to raise money to help a charity?”
“I really hope that I’m handing out lots and lots of money for charity this Christmas.”
