Zsa Zsa Gabor improving slowly
Veteran actress Zsa Zsa Gabor was said to be in a fair condition today as she continued to recover from injuries suffered last week in a Sunset Boulevard car crash.
Gabor, who is being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles, was upgraded from serious condition, said Leslie Porras, a hospital spokeswoman. She declined to release further details.
Gabor, 85, suffered broken bones in the November 27 crash and needed stitches to close wounds to her head, hands, arms and legs, her husband, Frederic von Anhalt, said earlier.
The film and television actress was a passenger in the front seat of a car that struck a lamp-post in West Hollywood.
The car was driven by her hairdresser, who suffered minor injuries, police said.
